Hawai'i

Got up at about 6am (fresh as a daisy mind you) and took the 30 second walk to the beach. Warm water. Nice. I got more reading done for my class in one morning than I think I have for the past three weeks. :)

My hostel is fun. The Polynesian [www.hostelhawaii.com] has all sorts of Aussies and Europeans loungin' around. Many of us are going on an excursion to Pearl Harbor (The dynamic "I'm incredibly excited about you being in my life" Scottsman named Ian is going to be our guide.)

I'm really excited about going to Pearl Harbor becuase my History class and I just gone done going through "all that." Maybe I can get some neat materials to bring back to my class... or, really I think I'll just send them a post card ;)

It's nice to be travelling again.

E-Rating

I suppose it was only a matter of time. Everything else is on there. So, be advised, now you can find out what middle and high school students think about their teachers... on-line!

Please visit RateMyTeacher.com to get the latest most up to date information on my standing school wide! (Select Colorado, and then West High school in Denver)

As of press time, my standing is only .1 greater than Miss Gates (the one who was beating me in the more informal polling mentioned in my previous posting.), and I'm placing roughly in the middle of the teachers in the school. Not bad, but we'll see how my rating goes now that the dreaded quizes are on for the end of this week.
